The high nickel content of INCONEL 600 makes the alloy very resistant to chloride stress fission corrosion and maintains its high corrosion resistance in the reduced state and in alkaline solutions.At the same time because of chromium, so in oxidizing environment corrosion resistance is better than pure nickel.
Main features: excellent high temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, excellent cold and hot processing and welding process performance, satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C.
